Lets face it is the holiday season. Don't get me wrong, I love the holidays, but sometimes there is a lot of pressure to get someone the "perfect" gift (especially when you come across that person who seems to have everything). Here are a great list of inexpensive-food-related-gifts to give to people, hard-core foodies or not they will love it!A gift that keeps on giving- everyone needs a calendar, but my calendar is special because 100% of the proceeds go to the Rhode Island Community Food Bank. Each month includes an original and seasonal recipe created by yours truly. The calendar can be bought through the RICFB'S website and shipped around the U.S! http://www.rifoodbank.org/gifts
Who doesn't like going out to eat?"Each deck of City Dining Cards contains 52 cards with savings to your favorite local restaurants, cafés and eateries in your city—50 cards are worth $10 off your food bill of $30 or more (tax, gratuity and alcohol not included), and 2 wildcards offer freebies." You can get City Dining cards for several different cities such as Providence, Boston, London, New Orleans, Buffalo, Portland and many more! Also it is a special gift because 5% of sales go to the local food bank from the city. Makes an excellent stocking stuffer!
An awesome and tasty granola recipe. After making it place it in sealable glass jars (decoratelty nicely if you wish) and give it as gifts. It is the perfect holiday gift because after the heaviness of holiday meals it is healthy, light and of course delicious!
A great homemade gift idea would be a "Homemade Ice Cream Party Kit". You could make this homemade fudge, salted carmel, edible glitter, and other fun ice cream toppers, put them all in their own containers and give it as a gift!
Happy Eatings!
